parkrun NZ Attendance and Milestone Stats for October 14, 2023.

In New Zealand there were 42 parkruns with 5568 (+207) parkrunners and 565 (-3) volunteers, plus any pending results.

In brief

470 (+73) people got their parkrun barcode this week

337 (+16) ran their first parkrun this week

703 (+87) achieved personal bests this week

46 (+5) people volunteered for the first time

15 (-1) new age category records were set

8 (+2) runners recorded sub-17 finishes

The average finish time in New Zealand increased to 31:37.

There was one course record broken this week. Christopher Dryden ran 16:01 at Broad Park.

The top age graded runner was Colin Thorne at Whangarei with a time of 58:29, 102.96% in the VM95-99 age group.
